The largest charity shop on planet Earth is nearing completion in Newry, according to local sources. Said to be the first charity shop visible from space, ‘Loada Dung’ could open its doors as soon as next weekend.
Speaking from Newry this afternoon, local Councillor Charlie Casey said:
“With only 37 standard charity shops, there simply isn’t enough choice for Newry residents when it comes to second-hand shite”.
It’s claimed the mega-store will be big enough to house thousands of 90s fashion throwbacks, which are still all the rage in Newry and the surrounding areas.
A spokesman for the new shop told Newry Spud:
“Newry is in desperate need for an even bigger charity shop. By this time next year we want to make sure every product purchased in Newry has already had at least three previous owners, including knickers.”
