St Paul’s and Carrickcruppen Gaelic football star Richard Keenan has been snatched up by American fashion house Calvin Klein after his appearance on the BBC today while playing for St Paul’s High School in their MacRory cup final defeat against St Pat’s Maghera.
The young Bessbrook man is to fly out on a private jet in the morning to take up his role as the new face of Calvin Klein. Calvin Klein spokesman Martin Lindburg told Newry Spud:
“We were in Belfast on business and were watching a strange football game on TV that we later found out was Gaelic Football. We saw one young man and we were smitten immediately by his boyish good looks and athleticism. After speaking with his representative his mother Patricia we signed him on a 3 year modelling deal worth in the region of $3.8 million dollars.”
We tried to speak with Richard today about his new carer but he was too pissed drunk celebrating both St Patrick’s day and his new modelling contract.
