The organisers of the craziest run on the island of Ireland are back at it again with another even tougher event for next year we can reveal.

Bessbrook’s Bootsy Fearon and his ‘Team Dog’ fundraising team have now upped the run to include 3 options for all levels of fitness with a Marathon, a running half marathon and a walking half marathon available.

Bootsy told Newry Spud:

“It’s for Autism H.A.N.D and The Special Olympics Ireland team. We’ve organised a helicopter to take Pat McGinn, Gerry Patton and Larry McCabe up to the top of Camlough Mountain. We would also like to encourage all other pensioners to come along and try it too.”

If you’d like to challenge yourself you’ve got over 6 months to get in shape and start training. Registration is limited and is now open for only £25.00. Click here to go to the website for more details.
