Police in Newry and south Armagh have warned the unsuspecting public to be on the lookout for ‘counterfeit fidget spinners’ we can reveal.
The popular gadget has proven so popular that a cowshed in Cullyhanna was raided by Customs this morning in which no red diesel was discovered but a ‘substantial and industrial’ level fidget spinner factory was found.
Customs spokesman Ian Dip told Newry Spud:
“We are growing increasingly concerned by the popularity of this toy and we knew the south Armagh forgery specialists would be up to their necks in this profitable enterprise.
Red diesel is now not seen to be worth the hassle so these toys are number one on the counterfeiters priority.”
If you suspect your child to be in possession of one of the fake spinners look out for the suspect bomb like making components hanging out of the toy and call
Sinn Féin the PSNI immediately.
