The GAA world has been rocked by the revelation that two Armagh legends are to take over the management of Down we can reveal.
Steven McDonnell and Oisín McConville have agreed a 2 year deal to manage their fierce opponents and neighbours.
Speaking to Newry Spud, Steven McDonnell told us:
“The Down County Board came to us with an offer that was just too good to turn down. Oisín and I are now to be considered as Down men. We have both had a life-long love for the ‘Red & Black’ of the Mournemen so for us both, this is a dream come true.”
