The number of delusional young couples seen looking at expensive engagement rings in H. Samuel’s window in the Buttercrane has reached epidemic levels this year.
Usually only seen around the first week of February before Valentine’s Day there has been a ‘sharp rise’ in young couples actually fooling themselves they could buy a ring according to Buttercrane.
Buttercrane’s head of marketing Pat Diamond told us:
“It’s kind of hilarious looking at these mugs that are mostly coming into the centre from signing on the bru lol. Even those working in the city are earning under £14k a year so they find it hard enough to buy a Friar Tuck’s F7 meal never mind a diamond ring.”
