SEVCO manager Steven Gerrard is to start work in Friar Tuck’s tomorrow he has said after his side’s 2-1 defeat to Celtic we can reveal.
The Scouser who took over SEVCO at the start of the season said he has ‘reached his highest point’ in Glasgow and will try his luck at the chip frying machine instead.
Gerrard told Newry Spud:
“I’ve had enough. There’s only so much a man can do with this lot. I simply can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.
I have heard many great things about Friar Tuck’s and with my leadership abilities I just might be able to win something there, like employee of the month or something.”
