In a find researchers are calling “astonishing,” a previously unknown townland has been discovered in south Armagh, the inhabitants of which still rely on smoke signals and a primitive language for communication.
As local scientists bus their way into south Armagh to observe this newly found tribe there is an exciting buzz in the area.
One scientist from Queen’s University told Newry Spud:
“In this day and age of Google earth maps, we thought we’d found every townland and village. To find one more after all these years is a once in a lifetime discovery.
As far as we can make out with the help of local interpreters the tribe are from a species of people called Cullyhanna. A strange and quite primitive find.”
