A new burger bar in Newry named after the world’s biggest cocaine dealer has come under fire from outraged members of the public we can reveal.
Pablo Escoburgers which opened yesterday on Hill Street in the city serves usual chip shop food but their special ‘Pablo Escoburger’ comes with a fake line of cocaine on the bun.
One outraged member of the public told Newry Spud:
“This city really doesn’t need this kind of attention at the moment. We have enough problems with high crime rates, more pot holes and craters than the moon’s surface and soaring anti-social behaviour. How is this going to help us?”
However a member of Pablo Escobar’s estate who opened the shop told us:
“Anyone who doesn’t like what we are doing will end up in the canal.”
