A Meigh man has been offered the acting role of a lifetime to coincide with his 30th birthday today we can reveal.
Raymond ‘RAMBO’ O’Hanlon has been hand-picked by Sylvester Stallone to be the new face of the RAMBO movie franchise.
A delighted O’Hanlon told Newry Spud from his Meigh cow-shed:
“I’m blown away by this offer from Mr Stallone. The last time I had an acting role was in the St Paul’s School Nativity Play in which I played a ditch on the side of the road.
I have lived in the shadow of my younger brother Ciaron who plays football for Armagh now and again. I tried to play football one time for Killeavy but I found out quickly I didn’t know what foot was the left and what foot was the right. So, I suppose acting in a blockbuster film is a step up for a simple Fein like me.”
