Newry outfitters McCartan Brothers have said they are to drop world famous superstar Conor ‘The Notorious’ McGregor from their multi-million pound deal to make his suits after the Dublin man was involved in a fracas at a UFC event in New York on Thursday we can reveal.
This will come as another blow to the UFC star after being stripped of his title because of inactivity in the octagon.
A McCartan Brothers spokesman told Newry Spud:
“We can’t be seen to be making suits for someone who’s involved in such antisocial behaviour, that simply doesn’t meet with our ethical standards.
We think someone with such a thuggish mindset should be sponsored by a lower standard of suit fitter, maybe like Louis Boyd’s or something similar.”
