Man To Take Macs Pizza’s To Human Rights Court For Sunday Deliveries

A Portadown man who now resides in Newry has said he will take the owners of ‘Mac’s Pizza’ to The European Court of Human Rights because they will not open on Sundays for deliveries.

Tipp McCann a part-time worker for the NHS in Craigavon has been leading a quasi online campaign for several months about the ‘discriminatory’ and ‘unfair’ treatment of Mac’s Pizza’s fans.

A clearly emotional and devastated McCann told Newry Spud:

“If I won’t take a stand now and make this momentous decision to take them to the courts I will not be able to look at myself in the mirror. As the Irish philosopher Edmund Burke once said “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Whilst I am not a big fan of pizza the ‘Macs Burger’ is a thing of sublime simplicity and beauty. As a ‘small person’ (dwarf) it is bigger than my head but I fucking love it. OPEN MACS On SUNDAYS.”
