A city-wide manhunt is under way in Newry we can reveal as Independent Councillor Gavin launched an in-depth search for the culprits of the dumping of Buckfast bottles we can reveal.

Councillor Malone told us:

“This is fucking it baah. I’m running around Newry like a blue arsed fly highlighting dumping concerns and then I see reports that someone has dumped their carry out empties from the weekend in the grounds of Costcutter.

While I accept the fact that Buckfast is a big part of people’s lives here in Newry the dumping of their bottles in such an indiscriminate manner is deeply concerning. It seems that I am the Malone Ranger when it comes to dumping concerns in this city.”
