A new initiative has been launched in the Newry area by a local drug dealing co-operative that will take children from the ages of 10-15 to teach them how to roll joints, cut cocaine and cook heroin.

The NDDA (Newry Drug Dealers Alliance) will take kids in from 9am to 4pm in Derrybeg Community Centre to teach them the necessary drug taking skills.

A drug dealer who has started the scheme told us:

“We see this as a two prong approach to help the community. We will be taking their kids in to a safe space but we will also be showing them how to both take and do illegal narcotics. It’s a win-win for everyone in the community.”
