A 37 year-old south Armagh man has spoken out about how he ‘could’ve made county’ and is wondering where it all went wrong as he sits over his 9th pint today.
The unnamed man who was ‘always tasty on the ball’ should have at least one All Ireland medal to his name.
The man spoke to us from an undisclosed pub and said:
“I just don’t know what happened. I was putting the ball in the net week in and week out from under 14’s, under 16s and minors.
Then when minors came and I learnt what Pints and sesh was I stopped putting the balls in the net. I just can’t understand where it all went so horribly wrong. Did I tell you about that time I scored 4 goals against Silverbridge back in 95 for the under 14s?”
