An innovative hairstylist from Forkhill has come up with a revolutionary new hairstyle for her South Armagh clientèle she has said.
Marketed as the ‘Merm’ because of its mixture of the 80’s perm with the 80’s mullet cut it is thought that the style will take rural areas like Cullyhanna and Silverbridge by storm.
We spoke with the creator of the new style; Laura Keenan who told Newry Spud:
“I wanted to do something cutting edge and new. I thought of the two most popular hairstyles in South Armagh over the last few years and the ‘Merm’ was born. Currently we are booked solid until March with farmers and housewives looking the style. It’s great because it works on both men and women.”
