One of Ireland’s oldest public houses is closing to become a strip bar we can report.
Doyle’s pub and undertakers that have been serving the Camlough and wider district for well over a century has decided to ‘go in a new direction’.
A spokeswoman for Doyle’s told Newry Spud:
“The economy is killing small pubs. We’ve looked at diversifying the premises and are proud to announce that from August we will be called ‘Doyle’s Diddy Dome’.
We are looking female dancer’s between the ages of 45-79 to fulfil our clientèle’s specific needs.
MLA for the area Conor Murphy told us:
“I’m excited about this. It’s about time Camlough moved out of the 17th century. I’ll be there like I vote, early and often. I hope my woman doesn’t read this.”
