There is excitement building in the Newry area with the news that the Council will put on daily concerts on Hill Street featuring Belfast’s infamous ‘Fiddle-Trumpet’ player.
Any visitors to Belfast City centre will recognise Yohan ‘The Belfast Blesser’ Sebastian from Romania who plays some cracking tunes on his contraption.
A Council spokesman told us:
“We are trying to bring more multicultural activities to Newry city centre. We heard great things about some Romanian fella who can belt out some tunes on a weird yoke and we just had to book him.”
It is thought the daily concerts will start on Monday from 1-4pm on Hill Street and will cost the Council an estimated £19,500.
