Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has arrived in Camlough for a medical with Camlough AFC along with his representatives after being released by the Old Trafford club.
The hapless Spaniard who seems to be made of cling-film has been in touch with Man United’s south Armagh representative Jarly Smyth who said he will ‘take a chance’ on De Gea.
Dea Gea told Newry Spud:
“It’s time to rebuild my career. When Jarly said he would take me on for the season it was a big boost to my self-esteem and to my career really. I also believe Camlough is full of Man united fans so I look forward to meeting them all. I won’t try to shake their hands though in case I miss.”
