The Newry, Mourne & Down District Council has announced a random draw for all residents in the council area we can reveal.

The prize in the draw will be your own dedicated parking space at The Bernish Viewpoint Dogging area.

The Council’s overpaid Chief Executive Liam Hannaway told Newry Spud:

“The Bernish Dogging Viewpoint is the most used council facility granted, not for what it was initially supposed to be used for but we must now embrace the fact it’s a real good spot for bucking randoms.

So, we’re giving 4 dedicated parking spots to four lucky people in the Newry & Mourne areas. This will entitle the user to 24 hour access to the premium spots, plenty of room for viewers and participants to take part in dogging.”

It is thought Camlough man Paul Garvey has already secured his spot.
