Newry Mounre & Down District Council have set aside £800,000 for dedicated drug friendly drug booths throughout the city we can reveal.

The units will be used for snorting cocaine and dropping a few E’s at local clubs and pubs.

One local drug abuser told Newry Spud:

“There are plenty of drugs booths in Newry but what we need to do is to stop people using them as public toilets. I find myself being interrupted every weekend when I go in to a cubicle to snort a line or two. Inconsiderate bastards come in and pee while I’m snorting up.”
