Conor McGregor the lightweight UFC fighter has said he will ‘take some time’ to reflect after getting knocked out by Dustin Poirier in Abu Dhabi on Sunday morning.
McGregor has rented a 2 bedroom house in Parkhead and will begin work in Monaghan Street Friar Tucks today.
McGregor told us:
“I need to get back to normal life and be humble again. Living on a luxury yacht and wearing a $1 million dollar watch is all good and well but I need to get back to basics.
I want to thank Friar Tucks for giving me the chance to work in their restaurant and for letting me get back to being a normal peasant.”
