With only hours to go in the January football transfer window there has been an incredible deal struck between the Mid Ulster Football League Intermediate basement club Camlough Rovers and giants of world football Liverpool we can reveal.
In a shocking move the Anfield club has aquired the services of Camlough Rovers video analysist Jarly Smyth they have said on their official website.
Speaking to Newry Spud Camlough Rovers chairman Seamus Lennon said:
“This was a bolt out of the blue to be honest. It was extremely hard to let Jarly go. I met this morning with Liverpool representatives alongside Jackie Mooney and Ronan Casey and we made a deal.
You simply can’t turn down Liverpool, probably the greatest British team of all time in my opinion.”
