A Camlough man has been let off with a slap on the wrists today after he caused a ‘terrible scene’ at the ferry crossing from Greencastle to Greenore we can reveal.
Paul ‘Tight Hole’ Watters a self proclaimed tri-athlete started a war of words over an £18 crossing that had Gardi and the PSNI on scene.
One eyewitnesses told Newry Spud:
“Mr Watters was quoted a price of £18 return, when he told them he was only going one way the ferry operator explained that they only sell return tickets.
Instead of paying the £18 the Camlough man who must have Jewish blood insisted he’d only pay £9 for the crossing. He was arrested and bailed this morning for ‘anti-social behaviour.”
