Buttercrane and The Quay’s Shopping Centres have agreed on a joint policy for the whole month of December that they will not play either ‘Fairytale of New York’ or ‘Do They Know Its Christmas Time’ over their speaker systems they have said.
After sever thousands of complaints that both songs are painfully fucking annoying after the 20,000 time you have to hear it the shopping giants have agreed to scrap the tracks.
A joint statement from the two shopping complexes said:
“While we love the Christmas period we agree with our customers that those two songs are annoying as fuck. We will instead play ‘Mistletoe And Wine’ and WHAM’s ‘Last Christmas I Gave You My Heart’.”
