There has been an extraordinary breakthrough in community relations in the Greater South Armagh and Newry area we can reveal.
The staunchly Loyalist marching band ‘Bessbrook True Blues’ have agreed to lead the Newry Easter parade on Easter Sunday marking a truly special day in the history of the province.
Speaking to Newry Spud, Bessbrook True Blues band leader William Hutchinson told us:
“We got the call from some chuckys in Newry asking us to take part in their parade on Easter Sunday. While it is nothing but a Popery orgy we have decided to lead the parade as it is the Queen’s own highway and we’ll march when and where we want. Except Garvaghy Road obviously.”
