The Newry heat of the new RTE show ‘Ireland’s Next Top Model’ is to be held in Bellini’s on Saturday the 5th of October.
The local talent on offer is said to be the finest display of women Newry has ever seen with beautiful looking women from all over south Armagh and south Down competing for the title of Newry’s representative in ‘Ireland’s Next Top Model’.
Newry’s Elaine Fatspatrick from Parkhead is said to be the front runner to win the title. Speaking from her flat that she shares with her 6 children the 17 year old told Newry Spud:
“I think I have a great chance, even with the ‘baby fat’ and the wee love handles I have these days as my face is the winning ticket. I’m pure class looking like.”
But she has stiff competition from one of the older competitors, Eileen Hairylegs from Crossmaglen who at 47 still thinks she has what it takes to win the title.
Eileen told Newry Spud:
“I think I can roll back the clock and show these young Beaures up to be honest. I’m in Ma Kearney’s pub most weekends and never fail to get the ride so I know I still have it.”
It promises to be one great competition; tickets are available behind the bar at Bellini’s priced £20.
