A young Abbey Grammar School student has admitted that being selected for the Gaelic football squad basically makes up 99% of his identity in school and life in general.

Oisin MacPassTheBall who entered 5th year last week said that if he isn’t selected for the 32 man squad his life will basically be not worth living.

Oisin told Newry Spud:

“I’ve been selected now for the last 3 years baah. If I missed out on the MaCrory cup squad I’d have to emigrate to Australia or something. Basically my whole identity at this school and in life is based around the GAA school team.”
