A new report by the telecoms industry has revealed that 95% of all mobile calls to south Armagh are the two callers asking ‘can you hear me?’.

The infamous black spot of Camlough ranks high in the pecking order of disaster areas for mobile devices.

A spokesman for O2, Vodafone and Three told us:

“Oh fuck it’s an awful place this for telecommunications. By secretly listening to calls and after a recent survey we discovered that 95% of calls are a mix of the person in south Armagh moving around the house trying to get a signal and the other half of the call is the other person shouting ‘can you fucking hear me or what’s going on?’.
