An 87 year-old woman inmate at Clanrye Fold has made a 27 inch shank to stab another resident in order to ‘get a good feed in Maghaberry prison’ she has claimed.

Delores ‘Queen B’ Bradley is believed to have spent up to 3 months crafting the knife that experts say could have caused a lot more damage.

We spoke with Delores via Maghaberry prison and she told Newry Spud:

“I’m in Clanrye Fold now 6 years and I’m pretty sick of the grub, the same old faces and the general smell of shite in it so I fashioned the blade in order to shank up some bitch to get out of here and up to Maghaberry to meet some new faces but it was primarily to get a good decent feed.”
