O’Neill’s Sportswear have apologised to the people of Ireland for making supporters tops ‘Tight Fit’ like the football players we can reveal.

Gone are the days of cotton made jerseys that made unsightly folk look half decent while supporting their county.

An O’Neill’s spokesman told Newry Spud:

“We’ve got it wrong this past few years and we apologise for that. Most county fans are ordinary hard working folk but put a ‘Tight Fit’ O’Neill’s jersey on them and they look like a plastic bag with whipped cream pumped into it. From now on all jerseys will be made of stretchable cotton.”
