MySpace the Grandfather of modern day social media made a massive impact today when it arrived in Hilltown we can reveal.
First launched in 2003 the media platform was mostly used by weirdos and musicians but the people of Hilltown are in joyous mood as the now defunct platform reaches the notoriously backward type village.
A village idiot and spokesperson told Newry Spud:
“Obviously we have only got the new dial-up inter-web thingy ma-jingy so we haven’t a clue what MySpace is but we can’t wait to learn about it. Apparently we can hear music from creeps in their bedrooms who upload it to this yoke.
What next boy? Somebody will probably invent a music player that you don’t have to carry around on your shoulder or a car that you don’t have to wind up.”
