The small village of Camlough will throw a party for the community tomorrow on the main street after scientists and communication experts have broadband installed in the little black spot for all things communications related according to local sources.
Installed over the last 3 years Camlough residents will now be able to connect to the outside world at speeds never before experienced.
Sinn Féin MLA Conor Murphy who helped bring the new technology installation told Newry Spud:
“There’s quite a buzz in the air. It’s all terribly exciting; we’ve never had this fancy new “net” yoke before. I’m not sure I’ll be using it though; I’ve never really been that interested in fishing.
That all being said we are still in talks with NASA and various technology companies to try and get us a mobile phone signal but things haven’t been going to well with it looking ever more impossible for that breakthrough.”
