A Newry Iceland employee has been entered into the Guinness Book of World Records with the prestigious award of calling customers ‘love’ the most times in one day.
At a celebration event in the Newry store Guinness representatives gave Tanya Morgan her certificate after they revealed she managed to squeeze in an eye watering 26,856 ‘loves’ into an 8 hour shift.
A clearly delighted Ms Morgan told Newry Spud:
“I accept this award not just for myself but for the people of Father Cullen Park in Bessbrook who without them I wouldn’t be here today.
I thank God, Our Lady and Moses and of course, I thank you love for this honour.”
