Boy George who is a well known humanitarian worker has opened up about his mission in Burren to bring ‘humanity’ to the area.

An emotional Boy George told Newry Spud:

“I believe it’s a calling from God for me to move to Burren and help the local population to become ‘normal’ and ‘civilised’ but I am know that it is an uphill task.

Hopefully with the help of the UN and Amnesty International I will be able to at least bring in clean running water. Electricity is only a pipe dream at this stage.”
