A new outreach program begins tomorrow to help delusional Down GAA fans to “face reality” and stop living in denial we can reveal.
After spending the entire year of 2018 refusing to accept that they are no longer Gaelic Football’s aristocrats, Down fans have been offered free government sponsored counselling to help them start living in the real world.
A Newry, Mourne & Down Council spokesperson said that fans of Down GAA are some of the last to accept the reality around them. He told Newry Spud:
“Armagh fans have come to terms with the fact that Keiran McGeeney is significantly shitter than any manager out there.
Yet there are still many confused Down fans pretending to be normal people. Some even believe they could win the All-Ireland in 2019. It really is very upsetting. We need to make sure they get the same help as everybody else.”
