St Joseph’s High School Newry Add ‘Drunk & Disorderly’ To GCSE Curriculum

Newry’s St Joseph’s High School could soon be considered one of Ireland’s ‘best performing schools’, after the board of governors added a ‘drunk and disorderly’ course to it’s GCSE curriculum.

We spoke with the school’s Principal Mr Declan Murray who told Newry Spud:

“It was all my idea. We’re shite at science, mathematics and history, but our students have demonstrated outstanding abilities in drinking Buckfast, Jägermeister, or anything alcohol related.

So I thought why not grade the little bastards on it? We’re just playing to their strengths. All that’s left now is to add a course in applying for Crisis Loans and we’ll be the most prestigious college in Ireland.”
