Big O Arrested Over His ‘Horrendous Radio Adverts’

The PSNI have arrested Warrenpoint comedian ‘Big O’ real name Oliver McMahon this morning in what eyewitnesses claim was a sensational swoop by heavily armed police personnel.

It is understood the arrest is for the many years he put the people of Newry and the surrounding areas through with his annoying radio advertisements.

One PSNI officer on the scene said that it was a ‘personal’ arrest for him as one advert in particular drove him to Saint Luke’s back in 2004. He told Newry Spud:

“I remember that I had to be sectioned under the mental health act because of that ‘CARS, CARS, CARS’ advert Big O would be doing on local radio. He pissed off so many people with thon advert that I’m just glad I was able to see the day that justice finally caught up with him.”
